Benchmark & game-session analysis
See what's holding your PC back, and how to fix it.
Unthrottled analyzes a game or benchmark run and tells you, in plain English, what's limiting your PC, whether that's heat, power, a maxed-out GPU, VRAM, or the frame pacing behind stutter, plus what to change to fix it. Capture a run in a couple of clicks with our free Windows app, or upload a sensor log you already have. No spreadsheets, no guesswork.
What it does
Built for enthusiasts who want to get a little bit more.
Tailored to your build
Save your parts (or let the app detect them) and every reading is checked against your real CPU, GPU, cooler, and fans, including rated power, boost clocks, and throttle points.
Every sensor, any load
Whether the app captures it or you upload a CSV, Unthrottled reads every temperature, clock, power, fan, and voltage, plus FPS and 1% lows when you use the app, then computes min, avg, max, and time over limits.
Answers, not just scores
Other benchmarks give you a score to compare and stop there. Unthrottled shows you what's actually holding your PC back, whether that's heat, power, a GPU pinned at its limit, VRAM, or the frame pacing behind stutter, and what to change to fix it, in plain English.
Compare and track
Unthrottled flags what changed since your last run on its own, so a fix, or a regression, shows up automatically. Stack a whole build against a new one to prove an upgrade paid off instead of guessing.
What it catches
The specific problem, not just a number.
Every run is checked against your exact hardware. When something is off, Unthrottled names it in plain English and points at the lever that actually moves it. A few of the things it flags:
Your fans aren't ramping
Running hot while the fans sat at a fixed low speed. It's the fan curve, not the game.
VRAM is nearly full
Textures spilling over to system RAM, the hidden cause of pop-in and stutter.
Power-limited, not heat
Cool but pinned at its power limit. More cooling won't help; more power budget will.
GPU-bound or CPU-bound
Which part is actually setting your frame rate, so you tune the right one.
Something changed since last run
A metric moved the wrong way versus your last run, flagged automatically.
A drive is overheating
An NVMe throttling under load, turning into long loads and hitching.
Uneven frame pacing
The 1% lows behind stutter that your average frame rate quietly hides.
Your overclock is stable
Or exactly where the next safe step is, based on this run's real headroom.
Getting your data in
Start with the app. Or bring your own logs.
You always run the benchmark yourself (Heaven, Superposition, Cinebench, a game, a stress test). The only difference is how the sensor data reaches Unthrottled. For almost everyone that's the app: install it once and it handles the logging and upload for you. The manual path is there if you'd rather not install anything and want to see exactly what leaves your PC, since you export and upload the CSV yourself. Pick one and stick with it for a given build, because the two name their sensors differently and runs recorded each way do not line up against each other.
Unthrottled Agent
Install our small Windows app once and it does the logging for you. It records the run and pushes it straight to your account. Nothing to export, nothing to upload.
- Start, run your benchmark, stop. Name the run and your results open on their own
- Reads every temperature, clock, power, fan and voltage your PC reports, including CPU package temperature and power, through its own signed driver
- Records FPS and 1% lows, which no sensor log can contain
- Can auto-detect your build to set up your parts
- One install and an administrator prompt the first time, so it can read those sensors
Bring your own logs
Prefer to install nothing of ours? Log a run in HWiNFO64, save the CSV, and upload it yourself, so you control exactly what gets sent.
- Nothing of ours runs on your PC, and you choose what gets uploaded
- Scored and analyzed exactly the same as an app-recorded run
- A few manual steps every time: start logging, run the test, export, upload
- No FPS or 1% lows, because a sensor log does not record frames
The loop
Four steps, then repeat.

Set up in a minute
Create a free account and install the Unthrottled app; it pairs to your account and detects your build for you. Prefer not to install anything? Add your parts by hand instead.
- 02
Capture a run
Put your PC under any load, like a benchmark, a game, or normal use. Hit start, run it, hit stop, and the app uploads the run for you. Prefer the manual path? Log it yourself in HWiNFO64 and save the CSV.
- 03
Get the verdict
Unthrottled scores the run from 0 to 100, matches every sensor to your hardware's limits, and names what's holding it back: heat, power, or voltage.
- 04
Tune and repeat
Change one thing, run the same test again, and Unthrottled calls out exactly what moved since last time, the fix or the regression, on its own.

Easy to navigate, run tests, and provides concise information to improve performance.
I've been trying to figure out what was wrong with my fans, and Unthrottled lets me log my fan curves, and I was able to fix it by adding more intake and less exhaust. Super helpful!!
Rated Unthrottled 100/100.
Recommending this to anyone wanting more information about their PC's hardware. Learned a ton about what's happening behind the scenes and how I can improve performance.
Keeps track of all the info I wanted monitored. Uses minimal cpu in the background and the support is phenomenal! Thanks!

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Unthrottled free?
Yes. Create an account, capture or upload a sensor log, and read your results for free. The optional Windows app is free too.
Do I have to install anything?
Unthrottled works with a Windows PC either way. Install the small Unthrottled app and it captures and uploads your runs for you, which is the easier path and the only one that records FPS. Prefer to install nothing of ours? Log a run in HWiNFO64 yourself and upload the CSV from any browser.
Which sensor logs does it read?
The Unthrottled app captures the sensors for you, or you can upload a CSV from HWiNFO. Unthrottled then reads every temperature, clock, power, fan, and voltage, and works out min, average, and max for each, plus how long your temperatures spent over their limits.
What is the health score?
A 0 to 100 read on how the run went against your hardware's real limits, paired with prioritized findings that name what is thermal, power, or voltage limited and what to change to improve it, so you learn how to improve your system instead of just collecting numbers.
Does it work for games, not just benchmarks?
Yes. Capture a normal gaming session and Unthrottled reports your average FPS and 1% lows, whether you are GPU or CPU bound, how close your VRAM is to full, and the frame pacing behind stutter, then tells you what to change and flags anything that regressed since your last run.
Is my data private?
You stay in control. The app only reads your hardware sensors and uploads a run when you tell it to; the manual path sends only the CSV you choose. See our privacy policy for the details.
See what your build can really do.
Free account, Windows 10 and 11. Let the app capture a run or bring a sensor log, and start tuning.
